spingal Posted April 11, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 11, 2004 I am in the Grand Suite on the Caribbean Princess and am wondering about the "suite perks" - are they the same as Elite (I am only Platinum) or are they different? Any information will be very helpful! THANKS!

spingal Posted April 11, 2004 Author #4 Share Posted April 11, 2004 Roy, I will be sure to post my experience when I return. I am going with my family on back to backs....5/22 Eastern Caribbean and then 5/29 Western Caribbean. We can't wait and are very excited! spingal Posted April 11, 2004 Author #5 Share Posted April 11, 2004 Chris, I just checked out your website - very cool!! I especially loved the "Love Boat" music. I have only cruised on Princess....cruise #10 and #11 are coming up and I really enjoy this line. Too comfortable with them to try anyone else -- at least up to this point! S.S.Oceanlover Posted April 11, 2004 #6 Share Posted April 11, 2004 I believe the perks in the Suites is not determined by how many cruises you have taken with Princess. My in laws are booked in a PH suite this June and as far as I can tell they get the same perks as someone that may be on their 20th princess cruise. I have a list of the suite perks on my website. Just click on the link in my signature. Bill Caribbean Princess Eastern Caribbean cruise page
CruiseFever Posted April 11, 2004 #7 Share Posted April 11, 2004 Bill- I think your in-laws suite would make a great place to meet onboard! CruiseFever Posted April 11, 2004 #8 Share Posted April 11, 2004 Spingal- #10 and #11? Cool, you're almost Elite! As I think you can tell we've become quite fond of Princess quite quickly Happy Cruising Chris www.LifeIsCruising.com Next up: Caribbean Princess 06/26/04 Star Princess 10/24/04 Carnival Victory 12/19/04 Carnival Miracle 03/13/
spingal Posted April 12, 2004 Author #9 Share Posted April 12, 2004 Bill, I checked out your website and the perks are awesome!! When did Princess implement them? My folks went on a cruise last May and were in a suite (not the Grand Suite) and did not get these perks. Thanks for all of your help! crusing plantlady Posted April 12, 2004 #10 Share Posted April 12, 2004 We just got off the Grand and had a Vista Suite. Same as a PH but off the back. The perks are fun. Being able to order off the dining room menu in your room is great. Keep in mind these rooms are nice sized. The balconys are huge and you want to spent some time there. High tea was fun. It's great to see the nice folks put that pink linen table cloth down. Don't forget the biggest perk which is the increased size of the room. We didn't have the hot tub and I can't imagine how cool that would be. Happy cruising and the Suite life is GREAT!
