LadyGal4 Posted August 2, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 2, 2015 I've booked a spa balcony for my next cruise in Feb. What perks have you all enjoyed?
YubaSutter Posted August 2, 2015 #2 Share Posted August 2, 2015 Depends on what ship. If it isn't a Cloud 9 spa room, then it is just a regular room on the spa deck with no additional amenities.

jamesr3939 Posted August 2, 2015 #7 Share Posted August 2, 2015 You will love being in a C9 balcony. We had one on the Dream a few years ago and don't think I would do another Carnival without a C9 and Serenity Deck. We hardly ever left the area except for dinner. I have another one booked on Magic for a NYE cruise. We took full advantage of the spa benefits. DW used the shower in the spa locker room rather than the cabin as the showers in the locker room were huge with multi body jets. Don't be confused, there are two locker rooms one for the gym and anybody can use. Then the spa area has a much nicer area, which you have to have spa membership to access. Rare alrichards4003 Posted August 3, 2015 #9 Share Posted August 3, 2015 Sunshine. And yes, it's a cloud 9 spa room But unless something has changed Sunshine does have a thalassotherapy pool. I normally get the spa pass if I don't have a spa room, but without the T-pool I did not bother.

I normally get the spa pass if I don't have a spa room, but without the T-pool I did not bother. To each his own, we found the T-Pool much to hot. Got in once for about five minutes then never went back. We loved the steam room, aroma room, and room with those tiled loungers (they are much more comfortable than they look). LadyGal4 Posted August 3, 2015 Author #13 Share Posted August 3, 2015 Ok, so no T-pool. But does the sunshine have the special showers in the spa? Some people talk about 3 shower head large showers.....

GrannyFlamingo Posted September 10, 2015 #15 Share Posted September 10, 2015 All I really care about are those thermo lounger things. I've been in 2 severe car accidents. A few hours laying on one of those sounds heavenly. But I can't seem to find really good info on a spa pass or spa offerings. Fascination next month, sunshine next year. We will see!
