What to do in Barbados, want to get some sugar cane....

My husband and I will be there in January 2016 and I would like to do an Island tour and for sure get some sugar cane to taste. Any suggestions???

January is just before the start of the sugar cane season so the canes may not be available/ready for tasting at that time.
