Sotos

We just returned from Grand Cayman and could not say enough about

Sotos StingRay Tour..they were fabulous!!! They picked us up in their van

right on time, brought us to the boat, gave us a lesson on how to use the

equipment and then brought us out first to snorkel at a reef and then out

with the stingrays.

The boat was clean, had a bathroom, fresh water and punch and even

a fresh water shower to wash off the salt water when we were done so

we could still spend the day w/o feeling all salty. The crew made sure that

each and every one of us get to hold a ray (if we wanted to) and he

took pics for you as well, showed us males vs females and even found us

a baby to see. The other tours around us looked much more crowded

while we had the luxury of having 12 people on our tour. Mr. Soto himself

answered any questions about the island, the reefs, the rays etc and then

I saw him wash and disinfect all the snorkeling equipment for the next tour.

I was very impressed as were all the people on this particular tour.

Next time we are in GC we are using Sotos again for sure

we paid $30 per person in cash (US dollars or Cayman only),

our tour was 9:00am-11:30am. Well worth every dime and I know that

their tip jug was nearly full when we were leaving their boat. I cannot say

how pleased we were with them. Got our pics back yesterday...awesome..

most of them were taken by the Sotos crew:)

If you go be sure to take along a simple waterproof camera we got a

Kodak disposable one, the photos really were clear.

I was so impressed with the 'Rays that I even bought a silver charm of

a stingray while shopping in GC and put it on a necklace.
