How's the weather?

We are going to be sailing through the Western Caribbean (Costa Maya;Belize; Cozumel) on the "Glory" over the week of Thanksgiving. Just wondering what to expect weather wise. We have looked at Carnivals web-site and found the average highs/lows for the ports. We were just looking for others experience sailing at this time of the year. Will it be too cold to go to the beach? Just curious. Thanks!!!

Been that route a ton of times...95% at that time of year so here's the scoop. The weather is typically beautiful...sunny, no rain (rainy season is usually done by that time of the year), not too hot and never ever way to cold. Absolutely b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l weather.

 

The only "problem" you might encounter is if a cold front is punching it's way down from up north. Sometimes the waves will get kicked up around the west side of Cuba when the front pushes through...always brought my dramamine for those days. It's the only time I ever remember cruising where the sober people were almost falling all over the hallways trying to walk and the tipsy (ok, I'll say it...drunk) people were walking in a straight line. It was the funniest thing I've ever seen in my life. DH and I were sitting in one area and you literally could tell who was who. :D :D :D

 

P.S. Do the cave tubing in Belize...worth the hour trip into the jungle. I've done it 3x myself and a friend who just came back from there did it and she loved it so much she wants to do it again.
