New Orleans - Walk from Erato St. Pier to French Quarter

I am ok with the distance and our luggage won't cause a problem, but I'm wondering if it is even possible. Does anyone know? Its really hard to tell on Google Maps if you can walk from where the ship docks to Convention Center Drive.

It used to be possible through the riverwalk mall prior to renovation. I have not been down there lately to see if it is still possible.

 

Your best bet is a $7pp taxi.

Yes, it's possible. Is it a pleasant walk? No. Spend the few dollars on a Taxi.

You can still walk threw river walk. I'm in my 60 and could do it if I wanted to.
