What ship was I on?

Strange question, I sailed a Carnival Millenium cruise back in, you guessed it, 2000. I can't remember what ship I was on and now I really want to figure it out! Did they all do Millenium cruises? We're there only a few? How can I figure it out? We said off the east coast, probably one of the Florida ports.

Thoughts? Did I provide you absolutely nothing to go with? Lol

When I signed up on the Carnival website under the VIFP club it brought up all the cruises I have been on, including ship names and dates. I don't know anything about the Millennium cruises but it brought up my cruises from 2004 and 2005 so it should go back that far.

I was thinking about this but Carnival seems to have automatically signed me up for VIFP when I booked and they used my married name. I traveled with my maiden name when I went on the millennium cruise.

So with a bit of help from Uncle Google I found that basically all Millennium cruises were over the New Year (1999-2000), 14 Carnival cruise ships did it.

2 had some bad mishaps, the Holiday out of LA (West Coast) and Paradise out of Miami... both had reports about delays, lawsuits, etc.

Sooooo did you travel over the holidays?

Call Carnival and give them the name you sailed under. With the correct name and date of birth, Carnival will be able to tell you which ship you sailed on and the date of the cruise.

Yes, I think we may have flown out on Christmas day. We were definitely on the ship on Dec. 31. I don't remember any significant delays but then over time my memories of the cruise have been reduced to towel animals, my brother winning a cruise at bingo, myself winning $75 in nickels in the casino, and the movie "Chill Factor" looping endlessly on the tv.

Oh good idea. Do you think they will add it to my VIFP points?

I don't know why I want to know. I think it would just be fun to look at the ship and see if memories would come back.

Yes, they should add it. However, make sure they only have one VIFP # for you. You said they gave you one under your married name. You may have a # under your maiden name. Forget what it was called back in 2000. Don't think it was VIFP as that has been used for a only few years now.

I would call Carnival and ask for details of your 2000 cruise by giving your maiden name and date of birth. Once they find that, ask if they will add that to your current VIFP profile so you have credit for all your cruises going forward under one VIFP #. They may ask you to send in proof such as your birth certificate plus your marriage license as proof that both names are for the same person.

Good luck!
