Beach glass???

Here is a thread that has alot of information.

I have been to the one in dockyard but not St Georges.

A local last year said the glass in dockyard is from an old dumping ground.

The waves round the edges like they are in a tumbler. Pretty cool

In St. Georges there is a little cove to the left of Alexandra Bay Battery (as you face it) that is littered with sea glass. Just sit at the water's edge and let the waves bring it in to you. My friend who has been collecting it for years couldn't believe how much this beach had.

St. Catherine does indeed have sea glass, but the sheer volume pales in comparison to Alexandra Beach where you can get it by the bucketfull!

We just got back. Here are detailed instructions on exactly where to find the motherlode...

Thanks so much for this little tidbit.

We'll be visiting Bermuda in June, and Alexandra Bay will be on our agenda! My daughter (11) collects beach glass, and this would be a sweet souvenir for her. Are there any restrictions about bringing such a thing back to the US?
