Normandy & Bay of Biscay in April

Hello all. I am considering a Seabourn itinerary from Barcelona to London in April, 2017 (mid April to end). The cruise will hit Bordeaux, Cherbourg, Rouen.

No clue what this area is like in April. I know this area can be iffy weather wise any time of year....sunny or rainy any month....but has anyone done a cruise in this area in mid/late April? Seems like an interesting time to go.....just don't want it to be a complete cold wash-out!

Thanks for your info.

It's impossible to say. We did an April cruise calling at Lisbon where , in the morning was damp and misty but by the afternoon was very hot. Going north up the coast it became bitterly cold and by the time we got to La Rochelle no one was out on the decks as it was so cold. We have done other cruises where it has been very pleasant ( not hot) but warm. It varies from year to year s very difficult to say. It can be very windy in the Bay then too.
