Any Galveston hotels with shuttles from airport and to pier

A friend cruised out of Houston a couple of years ago and she claims that she stayed at a hotel near the ocean in Galveston that provided a shuttle from Houston Hobby to the hotel and then a shuttle to the cruise terminal the next day. She can't remember the name and no longer has receipts. Before I call every hotel in Galveston, does anyone happen to know of any that provide that service? She thinks it may have been part of the Choice Hotels group.

I researched extensively and found nothing from Houston to Galveston, I found many from Galveston to the pier - at a high price, we're only 2, so a $30 shuttle is a lot, especially when a cab is $8-15.

Most of the Galveston hotels have a free shuttle service back and forth to the pier. Once you arrive at the hotel sign up for their shuttle service. We have done this many times through the years. It is nice to tip the hotel's bellman for taking you back and forth. After you get off the cruise, you call the hotel to let them know you need a pick up. We cruise out of Galveston about 10 times a year because it is so easy even though we live far away from Galveston. By the way, Houston Hobby will be opening up a big new terminal for international travel by the end of the year.
