Has anyone done the Celebrity Bob Marley tour in Jamaica? We are thinking about this one.

We very much enjoyed the tour of his estate but be forewarned that it is quite a long drive to get there.

How long a drive?

About an hour and a half or so. When we went we stopped for a break on the way and stopped at the same place on the return for the included lunch.

What does the tour at the estate consist of because the whole tour looks to be 7 hours long. With a 3 hour bus ride and maybe hour for stops that would leave about three hours there.

There is not a whole lot there really. A tour of the small grounds, one of the guides playing a guitar and singing a song...

 

You see his (very) small house and bedroom and his tomb - which just about sums it up.

 

Best for people who are big fans

 

Though I actually enjoyed the bus ride as it was in a very old dilapidated bus with the guide giving a talk about the singer with the music system, complete with speakers from a 1970's house played his songs all day long.
