Has anyone ever tried this excursion. How fast do they go. Did you enjoy it and was it worth it? We are looking for something different to try. For anyone who hasn't tried the America's Cup Regatta, it is fantastic .

They were a lot of fun and go as fast as a jet ski. Actually, they look like a jet ski but have a rubberized raft around them so they don't topple. Since they take you out to the open sea, the thing really moves and is often airborne. There is a lot of bouncing so if you have back problems and would not go on a jet ski, I wouldn't recommend this either. I suggest you go to the Ports of Call, St. Martins and type in Rhino Rider there is a lot of detailed info there because I posted in that area both before I went (asking questions like you) and when I returned (trying to answer questions). I hope that area will answer all your concerns. Do it...you'll love it.

My hsuband and I did this excursion. He was the driver and I rode. He loved it. We went fast enough for him to have a great time. The area where we snorkeled was cool too. Some people swam to the beach, but we stayed in the water taking pictures of the fish and coral. My experience riding on the back was pretty bad. The seas were a bit rough that day and we hit some waves pretty hard. I did not enjoy that as much as my husband. My back was a little sore right after the ride, but I was fine later in the day. The trip does give you nice views of the island, and if you aren't concerned about the roughness, then I would highly reccomend this excursion.

Is the one in St. Thomas the same? Did anyone do the mini boat tour in St. Thomas?
