What hotels are within walking distance to Bayside?

I will be departing from Miami in April. Our group would like to stay within walking distance to Bayside. Can anyone list the names of any hotels in that area? Thanks for the help.

I've stayed at Hotel Intercontinental many times for that very reason. It really is less than two city blocks walk from hotel door to being in the middle of Bayside. Great view from hotel rooms too. Roof-top pool (not the actual top of the hotel) book seperate from your cruise if you feel comfortable should be $150 or less for the ROOM not per person...thru cruise line will be higher. This is the hotel on Chopin Plaza I beleive.

Intercontinental and Holiday Inn are within SAFE walking distance of Bayside Marketplace... The other downtown hotels are close, all less than 5 minutes by taxi, but it's best not to attempt to walk from the others at night.

MA 2. We stayed Pre at the Holiday inn Bayside, and through priority club, ended up with a Bayside Suite for 25,000 Points if you are a member, other wise figure about 150.00'ish

I got Holiday Inn Port of Miami (that's the one across the street from Bayside) for next May for $93/night.

How did you get that rate? Did you book online? Please tell me ....:D

 

 

I am looking to book for one night on April 8 and the rate online right now is $118 plus tax, it was $112 about two weeks ago. I called and asked about the sailaway program for next year and was told right now its not in the system and she was not sure if it would be. I'm hoping they run it again, its $99 a night plus the bayside view room and continental breakfast.

Lori, hotel prices vary from day to day. In general though May is less expensive down here than April. Early April in particular is still Spring Break time, therefore much higher rates.

Lori, I booked it online about two weeks ago. The date is May 27. I believe it was a AAA rate. Keep checking, Trent is right. Rates can change daily.

Yes, if you got the one in downtown Miami, it's a wonderful hotel... You did great!
