Any comparisions please?

Loved NCL Dawn (booked NCL Jewel for January?

Loved Celebrity Constellation-

Golden Princess was ok.

What can we expect for Brilliance of the Seas Transatlantic, Nov, 2006??

Enjoyed NCL's fun, freestyle dining, entertainment, staff-

loved Celebrity's food, especially in speciality restaurants and elegance

Loved Princess shore excursions

Did not like the 'stuffiness' of some Celebrity pax-hubby doesn't like traditional dining

Princess- very old clientele (I am 51)- staff not friendly

ok- given that- what do you think? tell me about the Brilliance!!

More formal than the Dawn, definitely.

Not stuffy at all. Great activities, fitness program and entertainment.

Specialty restaurants (esp. Portofino) are excellent and reasonable. Easily surpasses Le Bistro, IMRE.

However, the main dining room is traditional, so hubby may not like that. However, there are other venues as well every evening.

I think RCI ships have the friendliest staff of any cruise line (as a general statement, some ships are obviously better than others.)

Brilliance has unique (to Radiance class) engines. My cruise on Serenade was the smooooothest ever!

Ship is gorgeous! I have been on the Dawn and, while she is pretty and contemporary, Brilliance is more elegant.
