Security problems with thank you gifts??

I'm having my wedding on carnival in about 30 days!! I posted this question in the wedding thread but got no responses so I'm hoping some seasoned cruisers may have some answers. [emoji3]

 

As I'm sitting here putting my thank you bags together I'm wondering if I'm going to have an issue with the security and them having to open each bag and look in them. For the guys I have a bottle opener and for the ladies I have a wine stopper. I also have some candy in each bag since my wedding is on Halloween. Do you think they'll open each bag? Should I not add the tissue and just leave the stuff where they can see it all?? Ahh help please!! Thanks!!

If your worried, I would put them together after bag goes through. But that is me. At least they would not be possibly torn apart.

Are you talking about airport security? Where are you putting the gifts? In your checked baggage or carryon?

 

I can't imagine there would be a problem in your checked bags? (unless you had something that was not allowed?)

 

I do bring 'gifts' on board with me - and I usually just pack everything separately and assemble the gift bags onboard....
