Average age of Cruise Critics members

My DH & I are both High School teachers in our early 50's. The Tahitian Princess will be our 13th cruise in honor of our 30th anniversary. I can't think of a better vacation than a cruise. Visiting Tahiti is a lifelong dream.

I was wondering what the average age of the people on this board is.

I'm 50 and going on my first Princess cruise.

I'm almost 50 (January) and will be spending that birthday on Maui ... while on my 7th cruise ... this one aboard HAL's Amsterdam.

We are 38 & 40 and have been on 5 and 4 cruises respectively, the majority on Princess.

I'm 80 and my wife is 81. We only were on Princess 1 time - the Dawn on repositioning from SF to San Juan. We loved it and will use them again. The bulk of passengers were over 50, probably because that was a longer cruise.

We're 59 and 60 but the average age on the last Caribbean cruise was much younger. I think the longer cruises have an older crowd then the 1 week cruises.

My wife and I are 75 and 77 respectively...Nov. 4th will be our 10th cruise with Princess. Have taken 2 with Celebrity and 2 with HAL...find we have to pass on the cliff climbing,rock climbing stuff but we still enjoy ourselves. Have net many fine people while cruising...have done all our cruising in the past 8 years!

I'm 49 and have been on one cruise - the Grand in fall 2003. Never had any interest in cruises but my former GF loves then and talked me into it. Had such a good time that I've talked my present GF (age 54) into joining me on the CB departing this Oct. 29.
