We cruise out on the 7th (Saturday).

How will this special weekend affect us? Is this event held in Galveston?

Traffic is a nightmare all weekend, just give yourself some extra time. If you don't have a hotel room for the night before already good luck getting anything within an hour or so of Galveston. We cruised the same weekend last year and are again this year... Luckily most bikers aren't the earliest of risers, so if you get on the island by 9 or so you should be good

Andy there's a big ride leaving from Houston to Galveston at 11 am on Saturday the 7th, so make sure you're ahead of that if you're coming from that direction

We plan to drive from Louisiana that morning, and come across the ferry.

There will be bikes everywhere so please take extra time and precautions on the island that weekend!

We cruised out of Galveston last year during the bike rally. Took forever to make it up Harborside Drive. The side streets were all blocked off. My only advice is to give yourself as much time as possible to get to the terminal.
