Weather Hawaii-Ensenada April 1

What kind of weather/turbulence can I expect on my trip from the Hawaiian Islands to Ensenada, Mexico (cross-Pacific) in early April? Should I bring lots of sweaters/coats? Thank you. I'm so excited!! (last cruise was 20 years ago on the Big Red Boat :))
