escentialssoycandles Posted November 4, 2015 #1 Share Posted November 4, 2015 I know there is the Buffet on the Getaway but are there other options on Getaway for Breakfast that are maybe less crowded? I saw Flamingo Grill but I have a gluten allergy and it seems everything there is on bread/breaded. Any Specialties offer breakfast?
perditax Posted November 4, 2015 #2 Share Posted November 4, 2015 Do the MDRs do breakfast? I did a quick google but I can't tell for sure. I'm not a huge breakfast person so I tended to get something quick from FG or the buffet. Speaking of ... I don't remember the buffet being super busy for breakfast, or at least I could always find a table.
Josher61 Posted November 4, 2015 #3 Share Posted November 4, 2015 http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2276710 I know the thread is about the Breakaway, but maybe applies to the Getaway as well? I don't know the answer but thought this thread may help with ideas.
DaniJo Posted November 4, 2015 #4 Share Posted November 4, 2015 (edited) From my research, complimentary breakfast is served at MDR Taste, O'Sheehan's (24 hr), Garden Cafe (buffet) & Flamingo Bar & Grill. Looks like the Haven Restaurant and also the Atrium Cafe do. None of the specialties according to NCL. Edited November 4, 2015 by DaniJo
wwwfla Posted November 4, 2015 #5 Share Posted November 4, 2015 O'Sheehans was comfortable and relatively quick. Nice selection but not unlimited. The staff can also get you your Bloodies.
sun, sand, cocktail Posted November 15, 2015 #6 Share Posted November 15, 2015 Hi, We ate breakfast in the main dining room every morning except the first sea day and the last morning. It's not as quick as the buffet but you can order anything you want. If I remember correctly, they closed at 9:30. I would assume they can handle any special dietary requests.Enjoy
