Park and Cruise in New Orleans

Can anyone please give me some info on an affordable place to stay that offers park and cruise in New Orleans? Thanks so much!

It's only $18 per day to park at the port.

Fulton Garage is only a block from the cruise terminal, just on the other side of the convention center. Rooftop parking only $8 per day, costing us $68 for our 7 night cruise next January.

I have found a few across the river in Harvey. Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express and Comfort Inn and Suites.

 

Is there anyone that knows anything about the area of Harvey? The hotels look fairly new and there appears to be a lot of businesses in the area.
