Kkate Posted November 11, 2015 #1 Share Posted November 11, 2015 After more than 2 hours on the phone and talking to 3 different people at NCL I finally know how they reached the price on my recent booking. It definitely should not be so difficult. The exchange rate is now 33.3%!! The only break is they give you 10% off the base fare only before adding the 33.3%. Example of US Fare for 2 Guests Fare 2,000.00 Tax, Fees 362.24 Bev SC 230.40 Ttl 2,592.64 Less 10% base fare US Fare 1,800.00 Tax, Fees 362.24 Bev SC 230.40 Ttl 2,392.64 Total X 33%= $3,189.39 Americans pay $$2,592.64 - Canadians pay $596.75 extra The main reason I "jumped ship" to NCL was that they gave Canadians a break. Josher61 Posted November 11, 2015 #2 Share Posted November 11, 2015 Yes, unfortunately that's the conclusion we reached a few days ago on a thread here. It would appear the 10% is the only discount available to us now. I agree, it shouldn't be so difficult to figure out what the rate is, most NCL reps are incorrectly claiming the exchange rate is 25%. Lots of discussion about this on previous threads if you want to read those :)

Glad I have four booked previous to this but I'm afraid this may be the last.
