We were on this cruise in August and it was one of our most memorable. The best part about going in August was the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Each country is totally breathtaking and you will certainly enjoy them. I was the first in my family to set foot on the soil where my ancestors were born (Cork, Ireland) and I was totally humbled.

I would also like to stress that you sign up for the Smart Traveler Program through the U.S. State Dept (http://travel.state.gov/content/passports/en/go/step.html). If anything happens while in a foreign country and you are registered on this site, it is the State Dept.'s duty to aid you in leaving the country safely. This is not meant to be a downer but in light of current circumstances around the world, it is just another layer of security for you and your family.

Have a wonderful time. I wish I was going back in June!!;)
