MrsBee89 Posted November 23, 2015 #1 Share Posted November 23, 2015 I recently upgraded my balcony cabin on the Escape to a mini-suite GTY. I have since read that we could get a fully obstructed balcony...does anyone know the chance of this? How many mini-suites have fully obstructed balconies?! Demonyte Posted November 23, 2015 #2 Share Posted November 23, 2015 AFAIK there are no obstructed balconies on any NCL ship. On some older ships there are some hull balconies in very fwd/aft which means that the balcony is inside ship's hull and there is a window-like opening in the side. On newer ships the lifeboats are hanging below some balconies so they obstruct the view down, but not out to the side.
