Hello all-

Couldn't really find any new information but looking at sailing on the dawn and the pricing is the same between the two cabins.

Any pros cons tips etc to share?

Never been in a suite before but it really seems worth it due to extra perks and not being much more than the standard balcony cabin.

Cabins are about the same size but the forward balconies are much larger. Forward has more wind and less privacy, but the deck is incredible. Aft suites are in a quiet area and the view of the wake is mesmerizing. I prefer the aft but both are great. If you choose aft go for deck 9 or 10.

We stayed in the forward penthouse suites on the Dawn and Star. The balcony is huge for those, but be aware of the increased wind factor. We also felt that the view through the windows was not that great. Still, the cabin size and the butler (we had a gem) made it a worthwhile investment. If don't mind the aft location (not our favorite), you might choose that.

We were in aft PH 10226 on the Dawn for three weeks this fall. The room was fine, bathroom was small, and balcony wasn't deep enough for our loungers to face the wake; they had to be slanted. That said, it was super quiet.

This was our first time to book a suite (we did a late upgrade on a short cruise in 2014). Loved, loved, loved the breakfast and lunch at Cagney's, priority embarkation, priority disembarkation at all the ports. Had a blast!
