How much cash?

Recommended Posts

Our friends are cruising with us and they do not have a credit card. This is not asking how much cash they should bring to spend. BUT

do they need to bring a certain amount to show the front desk that they can pay for their account?

This same question was asked earlier. I believe it is $250 and I am not sure if that is per person or per cabin. A really easy way to find out is to call RCCL directly at (866) 562-7625. They are there until midnight every night (east coast time) and can answer your question in about 2 seconds flat.

The ship will only allow them to charge their on board account up to the amount of cash deposited with them. Once this limit is reached the account is cut off until more is deposited. Your friends need to take enough to pay for all drinks, shore excursions, laundry etc. & deposit it with the ship when boarding.
