Stingray City- Moby Dicks

Just went to Grand Cayman last Tuesday (with Carnival- Miracle) and we had a blast! Moby Dick's charged us $35 for the tour- and it was worth every penny. We spent all the time we wanted with the Stingrays and our tour guides (Mark and Zak) really helped us to feel comfortable and at ease with the animals. They stopped at a coral reef after the stingrays to let us snorkel for about a half hour more if we wanted- and that was a nice bonus. The stingrays were just beautiful and so friendly- you can even kiss them for good luck (although don't expect the payoff later in the casino- that didn't work out for our group!) :) We booked ahead of time online and it was nice to have that taken care of when we got there. My recommendation- Moby Dicks is the way to go!

MeganY, Thanks for your post. I found their website and sent them an E-mail for a quote for our group of 20. What is their boat like? How many people were on the boat? We have some small children that would be with us. Do they have the appropriate life preservers? Were there any children on your tour? Thanks for the information.

We went with Moby dick Tours on 9/20/05. The boat is nice and clean and the staff is friendly. Our 2 sons (9 and10) went with us and had a great time. The boat was well stocked with snorkle vests for children and adults. Hope this helps!!

The boat was very clean- and had a bathroom and shower even if you need it. The staff were wonderful- really helped everyone feel comfortable and have a great time. They had life preservers for everyone- and even though I wasn't traveling with a child- there was one on our tour and he was wearing a lifevest supplied by Moby Dicks. I am sure if you let them know ahead of time what you need- they can accomodate you. I hope this helps- bottom line is for a $35 excursion you will have a fantastic time- be treated great- and see beautiful stingrays. You can't miss with that! :)
