Sheila49 Posted January 3, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 3, 2016 Yes, lolmerry, the standard cabins are very small but the plus ones are ok. Not sure how much the drinks package will be, depends when you are going. If it's winter 16/17 it should still be free I think. if you do a mock booking online the price will come up. WeeCountyMan Posted January 4, 2016 #3 Share Posted January 4, 2016 If you do a dummy online booking for the cruise you are on it will give you the price for the drinks package once you get to the add ons options.
WeeCountyMan Posted January 4, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 4, 2016 Apologies Sheila - I didn't clock that you had already suggested a dummy online booking. Out of curiosity I ran one for "Canadian Flavours" in March = £25.94 pppn, £363.09 for the 7 nights. Not a good deal for a light/moderate drinker IMO. Sheila49 Posted January 4, 2016 #5 Share Posted January 4, 2016 That's ok WCM![emoji4] When we booked for May/June last November the AI was £9.10pppn. When I checked the other day it was £18.20. Strange amounts at the moment!

We are flying out to Tenerife on 22nd March from Bristol (only 30 mins from me) which avoids the hassle of other UK airports such as Gatwick, Heathrow or Birmingham! I am travelling with daughter, son-in-law and 12 year old granddaughter and the drinks package for the four of us was quoted at £726.18 for the 7 day cruise. We are not big drinkers and when you consider that for the majority of the daytime in port you are out sightseeing it does not seem value for money. We therefore plan to pay as we go. Which date are you sailing? Suron
