Bobstam Posted January 6, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 6, 2016 We are sailing Feb 6 on Escape, our adult daughter will be going on an excursion with some other family members, hubby and I plan to take grandkids off ship and shop around a little then go back on ship with them, what paperwork is required to get on and off, I assume just our state issued id and sail card (room card), anything else? Will the grandkids need to have their room cards also? Thanks for your help.:)
Medtech2 Posted January 6, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 6, 2016 Yes, everyone needs their room cards. I would also carry a medical power of attorney and permission to have the kids with you.
triptolemus Posted January 6, 2016 #3 Share Posted January 6, 2016 Please review this: https://www.ncl.com/about/required-travel-documentation Anyone who leaves the ship (including a baby) who has been issued a ship card will need the card to both leave and return to the ship. Since you will be going ashore with a child of whom you are not the parent/legal guardian, one could reasonably recommend that you go ashore with the consent/release form as well. I am not sure this would be required, but it does make good sense.
