The CDC has issued an advisory that pregnant women in any trimester and women planning pregnancy should consider postponing travel to areas with the Zika virus including Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America due to the risk of birth defects.

Please talk with your healthcare professional about this if you are in the high risk group for travel.

I'm so bummed about this! Make sure you read what counties are affected. St. Thomas and st. Marteen are not, but Puerto Rico is. I guess an extra day on the ship for me, especially since the Reflection gets to San Jan at 430 local time, just in time for dusk and mosquitoes!
