Thomson Spirit - Ancient Affair - visas

Hi folks, Just booked the above cruise for 16/3/16.

There are 2 ports of call in Turkey, can anyone tell me if we need to get our own Turkish Visa.

I have emailed Thomsons and they said no, we would use the ships visa.

My husband went into our local Thomsons shop,to ask, and they said we WOULD need to get our own visa !!??

Don't want to buy if we don't need too, but don't want to have to stay on board if we needed our own !!

Visa only required when flying in to Turkey, cruise ship day visits DO NOT require a visa . Ignore what the shop said, they are wrong

Visa required if the visit is 72hrs or longer. Not required for day visits if you have a British citizen passport
