Fury Catamaran

Just got home and wanted to post about our day in Cozumel.....

We booked the Fury Snorkel and beach through NCL about an hour before we actually boarded the catamaran as we were concerned about weather but it turned out to be a beautiful day.

They safety briefed us, and then lowered the stairs for us to get in the water over a reef to snorkel for about an hour. It was plenty of time for most on our boat. The snorkeling wasn't as good as in Roatan but it was still nice with lots of fish, coral, and blue, warm water. There was a decent current that just carried you along the reef. Just a little bit of kicking was needed to keep you in position. They kept the Cat closeby to the group for anyone that wanted to get back on.

Once back on board the beer, margaritas, and sodas were passed out and they kept passing them out if you wanted them. They took us to Fury beach for more refreshments and lunch (for a fee) if you wanted. The beach is nice, full of big water toys, loungers, hammocks. Good facilities and very private/quiet. The ride back to the pier was filled with music, dancing, and we arrived in plenty of time before departure.

I would recommend this excursion to everyone. Even if you don't want to snorkel, you could lounge on the cat all day if you wanted.
