helensobol Posted January 19, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 19, 2016 -Formal night? How formal really is it? I see every ship as different. Can my daughter wear dressy flip flops? -Expedited Dinner – Is there a fast track dinner when you have kids? They have this on RC and I was curious if something similar here? -Anyone have an allergy experience? Curious the amount of items that are limited. Some cruises will not allow someone to eat anything that was pre-made off ship.
Trumpster Posted January 19, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 19, 2016 1. Formal night is cruise elegant night. No shorts, no wife beaters, etc. Seen everything from tux to friday dress down. Girls flip flops will not be a problem. 2. No expedited dinners like Royal offers. However kids can eat with camp carnival/ocean, allowing adults to eat separately. 3. Contact CCL with any allergy concerns and reconfirm with mdr staff/ matre d.
BimTheDuck Posted January 22, 2016 #3 Share Posted January 22, 2016 My fiance has a seafood allergy, no shellfish, no fish, none of it. I cant even fry fish in the house or his eyes start to swell up. We just notified our waiter and the hostess and they made sure absolutely nothing from the sea touched his plate. They are very accommodating on Carnival, we didn't have any problems at all.
