OBC Question

If it's all from Celebrity (none from a travel agent, for example), it is use it or lose it.

You can, however, withdraw anything that's left before the end of the cruise by going to the casino and asking for whatever amount you'd like in cash. Don't mention you're trying to cash out OBC, just ask them for however much money you need. The casino will charge a 5% fee for this service, but it beats a 100% fee that you'd pay if you let it be kept by Celebrity.

However, one caveat is that the TA is possibly quoting you a combined amount, where some of the OBC is from Celebrity and some is from them. You won't know for certain how it is split until your 2nd day onboard, when you can look on the TV in your room for "OBR" (refundable if you don't spend it) and "OBN" (not.) Purchases onboard will deplete your OBN first.
