Tampa Hotel - beer run - help!!

We have had confirmation from our TA that we are staying the night before the cruise at the Holiday Inn Busch Gardens Hotel. We need to do a beer run but can't do it on the way to the ship as we have transfers arranged. We are coming in from the UK so can't bring it with us. Does anyone know if there are any local shops selling beer within a short taxi ride or better still, walking distance - burn some calories before all that food!!!

Hi! If it is the Holiday Inn on Fowler ave., then you are in luck. I do not live in Tampa, but live in a nearby city. Fowler ave has a myriad of stores and restaurants. You will find beer!

Holiday Inn Busch gardens is on fowler Ave, accross from the University Mall. There are PLENTY of convenience stores in that area, and they all sell beer. If you have a day to kill in Tampa go over to Busch Gardens. It's a great attraction

There is a CVS Pharmacy just down the street for beer.
