I just returned from the Victory and had a wonderful time and LOVED the drinks! Does anyone have or know where I can get some of the recipes for the mixed drinks? I saw on the ship they were selling the recipes books for the drinks but never got one. :p

We will be on the Victory in Nov. What drinks did you like? Was it the drink of the day, or did you just like any of the specilaty drinks you felt like ordering? Were they on a menu to chose from? Was there a martini bar?:D

Miami Vice was my favorite and the Fun Ship which is the drink they offer you when you first get on the ship. They are a new drink of the day each day and I can't remember the names of them. You can order any type of drink you want. I think they had a martini bar but I never made it there. :p

Bermuda Triangle

If you like fruit punch, this drink is great!

3/4 fluid ounce bacardi spiced rum

3/4 fluid ounce Bacardi light rum

3 fluid ounces fruit punch

Blend all ingredients together, pour over ice and garnish with lemon wedge

 

Black and Blue

This is a great fruity drink

3/4 fluid ounce de kuyper blackberry schnapps

3/4 fluid ounce de kuyper Blueberry Schnapps

1 1/2 fluid ounces orange juice

1 1/2 fluid ounces cranberry juice

Mix ingredients together, pour over ice and garnish with orange slice.

 

Black Orchid

This is a wonderful blend of Blackberry, Chocolate and Cream! Delicious!!

1 fluid ounce dark Creme de Cacao

½ fluid ounce blackberry brandy

1 fluid ounces cream

Mix all ingredients with ice, strain into glass, and serve up.

 

Blue Margarita

You don't need to many of these

1 fluid ounce tequila

1/4 fluid ounce triple sec

1/4 fluid ounce blue curacao

3 fluid ounces prepared sweet-and-sour mix

Blend all ingredients together, pour over ice and garnish with lemon wedge

 

By The Pool

This is a great fruity drink. Not to strong

3/4 fluid ounce de kuyper Midori melon liqueur

3/4 fluid ounce de kuyper peach schnapps

1 1/2 fluid ounces orange juice

1 1/2 fluid ounces Sprite

Mix ingredients together, pour over ice and garnish with orange slice

 

Caribbean Breeze

Another wonderful fruity drink

1 fluid ounce bacardi spiced rum

1/4 fluid ounce de kuyper creme de banane

1/4 fluid ounce de kuyper apricot brandy

1 fluid ounce orange juice

1 fluid ounce pineapple juice

3/4 fluid ounce coconut cream

1/4 fluid ounce grenadine

Blend all ingredients together, pour over ice and garnish with pineapple slice.

 

Devil's Tail

Another great one

1/2 fluid ounce finlandia vodka

1/2 fluid ounce bacardi spiced rum

1/2 fluid ounce de kuyper apricot brandy

1/2 fluid ounce grenadine

2 1/2 fluid ounces prepared sweet-and-sour mix

Blend all ingredients together, pour over ice and garnish with lemon wedge

 

Far Out

This is a wonderful creamy fruity drink

1/2 fluid ounce Bacardi light rum

1 fluid ounce de kuyper melon liqueur

1/2 kiwi fruits, fresh

1 fluid ounce pineapple juice

1/2 fluid ounce coconut cream

5 ounces crushed ice

Blend all ingredients together until smooth

 

Goombay Smash

This is delicious!!!

3/4 fluid ounce bacardi spiced rum

1/2 fluid ounce bicardi light rum

1/4 fluid ounce apricot brandy

1/2 fluid ounce coconut cream

2 fluid ounces pineapple juice

Blend all ingredients together, pour over ice and garnish with pineapple slice

 

Lil Devil

Pretty layered drink

1 ½ Fluid ounces cherry brandy

½ Fluid ounce coffee, hot

½ Fluid ounce cream

Pour into a shot glass in order of recipe

 

Midnight Kiss

A Wonderful Coffee Drink

¾ fluid ounce Kahlua

¾ fluid ounce dark Creme de Cacao

1 fluid ounce espresso coffee, cold

1 fluid ounce whipped cream

Rim glass with pink sugar, fill glass with ice, pour ingredients, top with whipped cream and garnish with a light sprinkle of cocoa powder.

 

The Fun Ship

Delicious fruit punch with a kick!!

1 fluid ounce vodka

1 1/2 fluid ounces Bacardi light rum

1 1/4 fluid ounces apricot brandy

1/4 fluid ounce Amaretto

6 fluid ounces fruit punch

Blend all ingredients together, pour over ice and garnish with orange slice and cherry.

 

 

Tropical Lifesaver

This is a great summer drink

1/2 fluid ounce bacardi select rum

1/2 fluid ounce Bacardi light rum

1/4 fluid ounce finlandia vodka

1/4 fluid ounce de kuyper banana liqueur

1/4 fluid ounce coconut cream

1 1/2 fluid ounces pineapple juice

1 1/2 fluid ounces orange juice

1 dash grenadine

Mix ingredients together, pour over ice

 

Tropical Temper

1 fluid ounce finlandia vodka

1/2 fluid ounce de kuyper melon liqueur

3 fluid ounces orange juice

 

Turquoise Blue

This is a pretty drink and tastes great also

1/2 fluid ounce Bacardi light rum

1/2 fluid ounce de kuyper triple sec

1/2 fluid ounce de kuyper blue curacao

1 1/2 fluid ounces prepared sweet-and-sour mix

1 1/2 fluid ounces pineapple juice

Blend all ingredients together, pour over ice and garnish with lime wedge

 

Twilight Zone the recipe:

1 oz Barcardi Light Rum

1/2 oz Melon Liqueur

1-1/2 oz coconut cream

5 oz crushed ice

Float Blue Curacao

 

Blend all ingredients together until smooth, pour into a glass, float the blue curacao over the top.

It is yellow on the bottom, green in the middle and blue on the top.

 

Ultimate Suntan

The mix of blackberry, banana, and orange is delicious

1 fluid ounce rum

1/4 fluid ounce creme de banana

1/4 fluid ounce blackberry brandy

1 1/2 fluid ounces prepared sweet-and-sour mix

1 1/2 fluid ounces orange juice

grenadine, float

Blend all ingredients together, except the grenadine, pour over ice, float the grenadine over the top and garnish with orange slice.

I Forgot Miami Vice recipe....LOL

Miami Vice

Scale ingredients to servings

5 oz Bacardi® 151 rum

1 package frozen pina colada mix

1 package frozen daiquiri mix

 

1. Mix pina colada with 2.5 oz. of rum w/ ice. Set aside.

2. Mix daiquiri with 2.5 oz. of rum w/ ice.

3. While frozen, add pina colada mix to a cocktail glass. Add the daiquiri mix on top, keeping it seperated from the pina colada mix. Serve.

Easier way to explain and make the miami vice... make a batch of pina coladas, make a batch of strawberry daiquiris... mix the two (pour gracefully if you want the appearance, LOL)Buy the cocktail book... I use mine all the time!! :D

pacerzfan, you are awesome!!!! I'ce been looking for the black orchid rexipe for a while, discovered them on the TROPICALE, but they don't seem to make it regularly on the Carnival ships regularly anymore. Last two cruises the bartender didn't know what I was talking about!
