Where To Buy Wine In Tampa???

We are staying at the LaQuinta Inn near the airport. It says there's a big mall across the street. Where can we buy some wine to take onboard the Veendam?

Do they sell wine in grocery stores in Florida?:confused:

The mall across the street is International Plaza; high end stores. I don't recall there being any place to buy wine in that mall. Grocery stores do sell wine as well as some gas stations and drug stores, like Walgreens. But no sales on Sunday before 11:00 am. Another mall not too far away is Westshore mall, more like the typical mall, but a little too far to walk to. There is a Walgreens on the corner at the Westshore mall but I don't remember if it has a liquor section.

 

If you take a taxi to the port have him go by a Publix.

 

You should really enjoy the Veendam, we've been on her twice. After the ship departs, say around 5:00, at around 7:00 to 7:30 the ship will finally leave Tampa Bay and sail under the Sunshine Skyway bridge. That is kind of neat to see the approach to the bridge in the dark.
