Can someone please help me with a step by step explanation of how I can get a countdown clock on my posts-

 

I got it to work one time but it only worked for one post then disappeared-

 

I am not good with technical stuff so I really need a step by step...

Hi,

I too lost my 'Count Down Clock' when I made a change in my Profile. I got it back by "Cheating" :p . Find another 'Poster' for the same Cruise as yourself and then go to the bottom of their last 'Post'. Highlight the 'Count Down Clock' Part; Click "Ctrl +C" on your Keyboard. Then go to your own 'Profile', put the Cursor where you want the 'Count Down Clock' to be and click "Ctrl +V" on the Keyboard; "Voila" the Clock is now in your profile and will adjust as the Days roll on.:D

If you go to the "need help using this board" section there are step by step directions on how to set one up.

I got it to work one time but it only worked for one post then disappeared

 

If it worked for only one post you probably only added it as an image to the post. You should add is as an image to your signature.

 

Click on "User CP" or go to http://boards.cruisecritic.com/usercp.php (same thing) and click on "Edit Signature". You will see the same editor as you use for posting messages.

 

Now follow the instructions I wrote in an earlier reply to a simular post.

 

Finally click on "Save signature" and from now on you signature will always have the count-down-clock. You can repeat these steps if you want to change the signature.

Don;t worry it took me about 3days to get mine set up, everyone on the board was helping me, and no one thankfully called me stupid.:D

Hey thanks for the info on how to set up the clock! I went to geocities website and it was easy to use! I got it first time! :)
