Nicknac Posted February 9, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 9, 2016 Hi, I am hoping to take a friend of mine on Thomson Dream, and need advice please? I've have cruised before always taking a wheelchair, does anybody know if it is possible to take a three wheeled walking frame as well? Many thanks
joeholiday2 Posted February 10, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 10, 2016 I would think you will be OK doing this but I would phone the welfare team and ask them, they need to be aware that you are taking the wheelchair onboard anyway. They will book assistance at the airports for you and book the aircraft seats for free if you are a full time wheelchair user. They are very helpful :)
stelin34 Posted February 10, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 10, 2016 Hi they also do a taxi transfer for free if you can't manage coach steps
Huddersfieldtourist Posted February 10, 2016 #4 Share Posted February 10, 2016 You will be ok to take both the wheelchair and the three wheel walker.
Nicknac Posted February 11, 2016 Author #5 Share Posted February 11, 2016 Many thanks for you replies. I have used the assistance at the airports before and found them to be very good, better than at Bristol to be fair, it was the bit about taking the frame as well I was unsure of. Presumably I try and wrap it and it goes in the hold? Thanks again
