Question about Kennedy Space Center transportation

We are planning on visiting the Kennedy Space Center on the Breakaway in April. I would like to buy tickets from the space center itself and not the cruise ship excursion. Does anyone know of a reliable car service or taxi company that can take us there and back? Thanks!

We rented a car. From what I remember, they picked us up at the port in Port Canaveral and drove us to the car rental place. Then when we returned the car, they shuttled us back to the port. It was pretty easy :)

We bought the ships excursion because they keep the centre open an extra hour for cruise ship guests (or did when we went) so we got a longer time there, and guaranteed the ship would wait for us as we rolled in the last possible second.

Thanks again! I will call NCL and see if they keep Space Center open for an extra hour--that would be a big plus.
