Cabin info Grandeur...

We just booked a room on the Grandeur. We thought that we were back farther than we are and we found now that we are above the Schooner Bar.

 

Anyone have any experience being above that area. Is it crazy noisy all day. We noticed on the last cruise that they always seemed to have something going on in there and the guy running everything always had a mic in his hand. Not to mention that they play music there until 1:30am...

No experience with that cabin, but I'd move. Switch to the port side, instead. Or go forward, over the shops.

I'd have to agree with that. Why tempt fate over something that may ruin a portion of your cruise experience?

I've never been over the Schooner Bar, but I have been over the Palladium Theater and next to the Centrum. For me, if the choice were between over Schooner Bar or next to Centrum, I'd choose being over the Schooner Bar. However, if you're over the front of the Schooner Bar you're pretty close to the Centrum.

I see that you have been on the Grandeur before, every time I've been in the Schooner Bar on the Grandeur it was always a nice quite place to hang out, so I think it will not be a problem for you.
