kaultra Posted March 9, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 9, 2016 Trying to find a tour next week while in GC. Stingray sailing said they meet at 8:15 and sail at 8:30. Our ship arrives at 8am so she told me they can't take us. Now I think with the time change we will be there at 8am our time 7am there time? She did mention the time change being an issue. Am I missing something?

Am I missing something? Which ship are you sailing on and what was your departure port? Is your ship keeping it's clocks set according to the time zone of your departure port or changing to match local time? We are sailing on Freedom of the Seas out of Port Canaveral in April and are scheduled to arrive at 8:00 a.m. ship time, which will be 7:00 a.m. local Grand Cayman time. We have booked Stingray Sailing and made our deposit after corresponding with Michelle through several e-mails. I plan to check back with her again and make sure that there won't be a conflict. For awhile, Grand Cayman was considering observing daylight savings time, which would have meant that local time in April would have been 8:00 instead of 7:00;however, last time I checked Grand Cayman decided to stick with standard time and not observe daylight savings time beginning this year.
