Refundable On Board Credit

Recommended Posts

I am sure this has been answered MANY times however I'm going to ask again.

If I use Visa points for on board credit and do not use all the credit, is the balance refundable at the end of the cruise?

Thanks

Tim

You can get your refundable unused OBC from Guest Services on the day prior to debarkation.

If you do not take it as cash like Cruisenfever stated, it would get credited back to your CC. That *could* mess up current/future points depending on how it is refunded.

I took mine as cash last year to avoid the refund.

Exactly. If you used a RCI Visa card at check-in, then any refundable OBC would be credited back to that card with a loss of double points since it would show up as an RCI transaction.
