Does anyone know which Priceline hotels in the Hollywood Beach area would be considered 3* upscale?

3-star is not "upscale"... That's pretty mainstream and in several areas lately that's been a Holiday Inn, and not necessarily very nice ones at that. Personally I would never bid less than 4-star on Priceline.

 

Better Bidding and Bidding for Travel have great info on hotels in different areas and what they're going for...
