ndjoe Posted April 1, 2016 #1 Share Posted April 1, 2016 Has anyone heard if the soot issues on the aft suites of the Royal Princess will be corrected during their dry dock this year. Hopefully, they will make some attempt, since they are the most expensive cabins on the ship. Will anything else be done to the ship, except routine warranty work? riclop Posted April 2, 2016 #2 Share Posted April 2, 2016 It will probably be the same.
WupperAV Posted April 2, 2016 #3 Share Posted April 2, 2016 Not much they will do. They are Nassau registered and only have to comply with US regs for air quality and no visible exhaust in US Ports so they can make all the smoke they want on cheap Bunker Fuel. Nezmo Posted April 2, 2016 #4 Share Posted April 2, 2016 We experienced some soot on the first few days. Our room steward cleaned it up. After that I didn't notice it and I was looking for it. If you enjoy wake views, don't let the 'issue' deter you.
