Driving to tampa: Hotel info

Hey again,

Anyone have any info on the best route to take concerning staying in Tampa prior to cruising??

We are driving and could use some insight on a Hotel (we dont need a Ritz type hotel~ A moderate priced hotel is just fine for us ;)) to stay at the night before and should we get a hotel that we can leave our car with them and have them shuttle us to the dock OR just pay to park at the dock itself??

Any advice would be helpful......

Thanks,

Kathie

Hi,

THere are several strings on this subject - just serch under the pre/post hotel sub listing.

Personally I've narrowed it down to the Chase Suites and the Sailport. Just google them and click on specials.

They both offer a ship to shore package. Room, breakfast, shuttle to/from pier and parking for the week. (119-159 I think)

With Parking up to $12 per day (I believe I read that) these packages makea lot of sense to me

Good Luck
