ael123 Posted June 10, 2016 #2 Share Posted June 10, 2016 Did you do the Paris on your own trip? If you did this excursion can you please tell me about how long the bus trip took - what time you left LaHarve and what time did you arrive in Paris. I was thinking of doing a similar tour and then when we get to Paris we wanted to do a bike tour. However, I am not sure that we will make the bike tour because it starts at 10:00. Thank you for the information.

Thank you for the information. I did do the "Paris on your own". The ride was about 2 1/2 hours drive each way from Le Havre. We only had about 3 hours or so in Paris. The bus dropped us off and picked us up along the river near the Place de la Concorde. We walked up the Champs Elysees to the Arc of Triumph. Found a place to eat near there. Took the metro to the Eiffel Tower. Spend about a half hour there. Then took the metro back to meet the bus. That's pretty much it. I've been to Paris before. But my friend had not. At least he can say he has been to Paris. Because of the short time. I would suggest planning on doing something and sticking to it. Not enough time to "wing it". I believe we left Le Havre about 10am. We got back on about 8 pm. The ship was having trouble with the gangway because of the tides. Took a long time to get back onboard. We missed our dinner time. We had to eat in the Buffet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited June 10, 2016 by JPEvans
Li'lImp Posted June 13, 2016 #4 Share Posted June 13, 2016 The bus left the ship just before 9am, arrived in Paris around 11.30 a.m., then departed at 4 p.m.
