Sun Princess decks

We've been on 4 Princess cruises but never on the Sun. Well we were on the old Sun twice but not this one . Are the balconies covered? And on the deck below the pool is it noisy? I noticed Cocran has been on this ship about 4 times. Got any info for me? Anyone? Thanks in advance. Thinking about a cruise in Oct or Nov.

We were on the Sun last November and had a BA balcony cabin. The balconies are inset into the side of the ship, so are totally surrounded except for the opening looking out to sea. It was very cozy, and we could move chairs to follow the sun, even though we were covered.
We were on the Riviera Deck, right by the pool, and never heard a thing. We were the first cabin in, but the doors kept the noise outside.......we were upgraded to that deck, from Caribe, and didn't think we'd like it, but it was wonderful. I'm sure someone with more Sun experience will answer, too.
