joek Posted October 16, 2005 #1 Share Posted October 16, 2005 Has anyone sailed on the Provence or Chardonnay? We are considering sailing on one of them in April or May 2006, and would like some info on the choice cabins.

celem Posted October 19, 2005 #3 Share Posted October 19, 2005 This past March I cruised in Provance on the barge "Caprice" with OAT, a division of GCT. It was wonderful! rbreid Posted October 19, 2005 #4 Share Posted October 19, 2005 We were on the M/S Chardonnay starting on Sept. 10th. We took the Nice pre trip as well as the Normandy Post trip. The ship is great. We were on the main deck although we don't usually get the more expensive decks. We were commenting today, that this was our best trip ever. That was our 4th. trip with G.C.T. and we are planning on 2 more next year. You should hae a GREAT time Bob Reid
paulanm Posted October 28, 2005 #5 Share Posted October 28, 2005 We were on the Chardonnay in Sept. We loved it. We had hoped for a cabin with a balcony but they were booked. However, our cabin, #12, was fine. It was very roomy with adequate storage. Any questions, I'll try to answer.
joek Posted October 29, 2005 Author #6 Share Posted October 29, 2005 Thanks for all of you for answering. We have booked the GCT MS Provence. I can't give you the date right now, don't have my appt book with me. We've left Tamarac in South Florida for a motel in Orlando. No electric, telephone and at times not water and the power company forecasts 11/15 for completion in our area. Joe
