Medical services on Dawn

My wife and I will be sailing on the Dawn Nov 10. My wife has several ongoing medical problems. Just wondering if anyone has had experience with medical services on the Dawn. How is the medical staff to deal with and how does use of their sevices work?

The Medical department is like a walk in clinic. The doctors who I met seem fine for routine care and simple emergencies. You will pay for the services with your credit card and be reimbursed by your insurance carrier if they will cover the services. Medicare does not cover services on a cruise ship. Bring your own prescriptions. The clinic has normal hours and in emergencies can be accessed at any time. You should consider buying the additional insurance to cover you especially of you need to be evacuated from the ship.
