Dunn's River for Kids

Would anyone recommend DRF for kids (ages 5-10). We just saw a video and it looked a little rough.

There were quite a few young kids who climbed the falls (when our kids did). I think it would be fine, but if they think it's too much, there are stairs that run alongside the falls with several entrance/exit spots which makes it real easy to leave the falls (or re-enter). Just make sure you are wearing water shoes, or a pair of tennis shoes. It's a tad bit slippery for sandals.

There was a family who had a small child...2 or so. Part of the way up, the dad had her on his shoulders. After a bit, the mom exited and walked up the stairs while they watched the dad. Then mom and daughter rejoined the dad further up.

After we climbed the falls, we didn't want to walk through all the vendors which are located on the path back to the parking lot. So what we did was leave the same way we came in (through the main front entrance). Granted, everyone kept saying we were going the wrong way, but we avoided walking through all the shops prior to getting back to the parking lot. I read this on CC and it helped us make a quick exit once we were done at the falls.

Have a great time! :)
